Luis M. Sanchez
CEO, Data Scientist & Co-founder
Luis has over 19 years of experience in capital markets, where he has held multiple senior executive positions and quantitative analyst roles for top-tier Wall Street financial institutions, designing and launching to market over 7bn USD of structured finance deals with esoteric assets as collateral. He was a LASPAU scholar (affiliated with Harvard University) and obtained his MBA from The American University in Washington, DC. He received a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of the Armed Forces of Venezuela. At ttwick, Luis is in charge of designing algorithms, big data analytics, and coding prototypes for large-scale implementation. Two of Luis‘s discoveries, which are now intellectual property assets of ttwick, were granted patent pending status by USPTO.
Ralf Voellmer
President, Algorithm Designer & Co-founder
Ralf Voellmer has over 18 years of executive experience in capital markets, with stints at SAGA Capital and Deutsche Bank. Ralf was a Fellow at The American University in Washington, DC, where he received his MBA in Finance, and also his BA in International Affairs. At ttwick, Ralf designs processes for efficient run time of financial and computational linguistics calculations, and is responsible for ttwick’s intellectual property strategies.
Federico Emiliani
CTO
Federico has been a programmer for more than 12 years, and has also been a professor of Computer Science for several educational institutions in Argentina. Federico has worked as a freelance coder on numerous Internet projects and has developed a large number of back-end applications as a result. At ttwick, Federico designs and implements efficient internet retrieval processes of web crawling, packet routing and caching.
Jorge Nieves
Quantitative Analyst
Jorge Nieves spent over 7 years at Moore Capital. At Moore Jorge was the lead financial engineer in charge of the deployment of front-to-back trading and risk management platforms. Prior to Moore, he was a financial engineer at SunGard in Silicon Valley, and worked in the Risk Management and Treasury departments of the Federal Home Loan Bank in San Francisco. Jorge holds an Engineering Degree and a Masters Degree in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University. At ttwick, Jorge is in charge of quantitative analytics and information retrieval processes.
Dan Barnett
Director
Dan is the Chairman, CEO and Co-founder of Revere Capital Advisors, a boutique emerging hedge fund manager specialist, founded in 2008 by several former senior executives and board members of the Man Group, including Daniel Barnett (ex-Finance Director), Harvey McGrath (ex-CEO and Chairman) and John Kinder (ex-Head of Global Sugar Trading). Dan is an early backer of ttwick.
Jacob Perkins
Advisor
Jacob has a BSc and a Masters in Computer Science, and is an expert in natural language processing. He is also the author of Python Text Processing with NLTK 2.0 Cookbook, and the co-founder and CTO of Weotta, a San Francisco based startup where he builds deep learning processes and designs APIs for local data. Jacob advises ttwick on the improvement of its battery of natural language processing techniques, and helped develop ttwick‘s initial binary classification system back in 2011.
